Our Consortium

Our consortium brings together three organisations from Greece, Türkiye and Hungary, working collaboratively to support young people through inclusive STEM and Arts activities. Each partner contributes unique expertise—education, community work and youth empowerment—ensuring a strong, creative and impactful project implementation. Together, we build a supportive environment where all young people can learn, express themselves and grow.

STEM Robotics Academy

STEM Robotics Academy is an educational NGO based in Larissa, Greece, specialising in robotics, STEM training, digital technologies, and youth empowerment. With long-standing experience in organising workshops, national and international student competitions, and Erasmus+ training activities, the organisation provides high-quality learning opportunities for young people, teachers, and youth workers.

As the coordinator of the STEMpower Through Art project, the Academy leads the overall management, quality assurance and implementation of inclusive STEM+Arts activities across the consortium. The organisation is strongly committed to accessibility, creativity, and hands-on learning, offering adapted STEM workshops, digital skills training, and mentoring support tailored to the needs of young participants with diverse learning profiles.

STEM Robotics Academy’s staff includes experienced STEM educators, youth trainers, robotics specialists, and safeguarding-trained facilitators who contribute extensive knowledge in inclusive pedagogy, curriculum development, and cross-country collaboration. The organisation has also been recognised for its participation in international competitions and its contribution to innovative STEM education practices in Greece and abroad.

Berek Friends Association – BBE (Hungary)

The Berek Friends Association – BBE is a non-profit, community-based organisation located in Kaposvár, Hungary, dedicated to strengthening youth engagement, community participation, local identity and cultural continuity. Rooted in the values of active citizenship, volunteering and inclusion, the organisation works to create meaningful opportunities for young people, especially those from rural areas and small communities, to participate in educational, cultural and social initiatives.

BBE places strong emphasis on non-formal education and youth empowerment. Its activities include workshops on leadership, communication, teamwork and civic participation, as well as cultural and heritage-based initiatives that encourage young people to explore local traditions, community stories and shared identity. The organisation also promotes environmental awareness and responsible local development through nature-related activities, community action and volunteering initiatives.

Obeyder Turkey

The Association for the Education and Life of Individuals with Autism and Special Needs is an active youth-focused NGO based in Bartın, Türkiye. For the past years, the organisation has been supporting children, young people, and families through a wide range of activities, including sports and movement education, arts and crafts workshops, traditional folk dance sessions, and inclusive community programmes. Their mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with special needs while strengthening family wellbeing, social participation, and community awareness.

A strong element of the association’s work is youth engagement and volunteerism. Middle school, high school, and university students regularly participate as volunteers, supporting workshops, assisting individuals with special needs, leading awareness campaigns, and contributing to intergenerational and family programmes.
Through leadership opportunities, training sessions, and hands-on involvement, young volunteers develop responsibility, empathy, communication skills, and active citizenship.

With its strong expertise in STEM education and project coordination, STEM Robotics Academy ensures a well-structured, creative, and impactful implementation of the STEMpower Through Art project.

The organisation has experience in supporting young people with fewer opportunities, particularly those with limited access to international mobility and European learning experiences. Through its participation in Erasmus+ youth projects, BBE helps young people develop intercultural understanding, confidence, communication skills, social responsibility and a stronger sense of belonging within both their local and European communities.BBE’s team brings valuable expertise to the STEMpower Through Art project, with members experienced in project coordination, community development, youth empowerment, stakeholder engagement, media communication and financial support. With its strong community focus and commitment to inclusive youth participation, BBE contributes significantly to creating an engaging, supportive and meaningful learning environment for all participants in the project.
