Activities of the Project
A 12-month journey blending STEM and arts through workshops, exchanges, and digital initiatives.
Preparation Phase
Early steps include meetings, training, and planning.

Kick-off meeting
Initial meeting to set goals and align the team.
STEM + Arts Workshop
🤖🎨 STEM & Art Inclusion Workshop
The first STEM + Art Workshop of the project has been successfully implemented, engaging young participants in a creative and hands-on learning experience.
Combining robotics, engineering concepts, and artistic expression through the use of recyclable materials, the workshop promoted inclusive, experiential learning in a safe and supportive environment.
🔹 Young people collaborated in small, diverse teams
🔹 Activities were guided by trained mentors and volunteers
🔹 The experience focused on sustainability, creativity, and participation
🔹 Participants created, presented, and reflected on their own projects
🔹 Feedback and visual documentation were collected to support curriculum development
This pilot workshop marked an inspiring step forward in bringing inclusive STEM and Art education to life.

Youth Participation & Empowerment
Youth participation is at the heart of the STEMpower Through Art project. Young people are not only participants in the activities — they are active contributors, co-creators and decision-makers. Through structured reflection sessions, creative discussions, group work and youth-led ideas, participants play a meaningful role in shaping the workshops and expressing what they need to feel included and supported.
The project encourages young people to share their opinions, collaborate with peers, take on small leadership roles and present their own creative outcomes. This process builds confidence, strengthens communication skills and helps them recognise their own abilities. By empowering youth to have a voice in both the learning process and the project’s design, we create an environment where every young person feels respected, valued and actively involved.

International Activities
Cross-country virtual sessions connect youth.
During the mobility in Türkiye, young participants take part in Creative Coding and Performing Arts workshops, combining technology with movement, drama and expressive arts. Youth from all three countries collaborate in mixed groups, create mini-performances, explore coding basics, reflect on their experiences and learn to work together in inclusive environments.
This mobility strengthens communication, creativity and intercultural understanding while giving participants the chance to share their voices and ideas.

Greece Mobility — “STEM & Visual Arts Experience”
The mobility in Greece focuses on Robotics, STEM activities and Visual Arts. Young people experiment with hands-on robotics tasks, creative building, simple circuits and artistic expression through drawing, painting and mixed media.
The experience encourages teamwork, problem-solving and creativity, while providing a safe and supportive environment for participants with diverse learning profiles. Youth present their creations, collaborate with peers and contribute to a short documentary capturing moments from the mobility.
Hungary Final Event — “Exhibition & Celebration of Youth Creativity”
The final international event in Hungary brings together all participants, educators and families for a large exhibition and celebration. Young people showcase their robotics creations, digital art, visual art and small performances from the project.
The event includes interactive workshops, presentations, a community gathering and reflection activities where youth share what they learned. This final mobility highlights the achievements of the participants and strengthens the sense of connection and inclusion across all partner countries.
Training & Capacity
Empowering educators and mentors through tailored training programs.

Educator Training
Educators across the three partner countries participated in specialised training focused on inclusive STEM+Arts pedagogy.
The sessions introduced practical strategies for differentiation, visual supports, accessible lesson design, communication techniques, and ways to address the diverse learning profiles of young people with special needs.
This training empowers teachers to create learning environments that are creative, structured, predictable and supportive, ensuring that every participant can engage confidently in both STEM and Arts activities.
Mentor Training
Mentors play a key role in supporting young people throughout the project.
Through dedicated Mentor Training sessions, volunteers and youth workers learned how to guide activities, provide one-to-one assistance, facilitate communication, and help participants overcome challenges during workshops and mobilities.
Training topics included inclusive facilitation, step-by-step support, behaviour-positive guidance, safety procedures and creating calm, encouraging spaces.
With this preparation, mentors ensure that young people feel safe, understood and empowered in every activity of STEMpower Through Art.
Safeguarding Training
To ensure the safety and well-being of every young participant, all partners completed comprehensive Safeguarding and Child Protection Training at the beginning of the project.
The training covered essential topics such as child protection principles, ethical behaviour, safe communication, data privacy (GDPR), identifying risks, and procedures for reporting concerns.
Through shared guidelines and common protocols, the consortium created a unified framework that guarantees a safe, respectful and supportive environment across all project activities in Greece, Türkiye and Hungary.
Evaluation & Impact
Evaluation is an essential part of STEMpower Through Art, ensuring that all activities are meaningful, inclusive and aligned with the needs of young participants. Throughout the project, partners collect feedback through questionnaires, reflection journals, observation notes and discussions with youth, families and educators. These tools help us monitor progress, identify challenges and continually improve the quality of our workshops and mobilities.
The project also measures its wider impact on participants’ confidence, creativity, communication skills, social interaction and engagement in STEM+Arts activities. By analysing both quantitative and qualitative results, the consortium gains a clear understanding of how the project supports young people with diverse learning profiles and strengthens inclusive practices in all three countries.
The final evaluation brings together all evidence, success stories and outcomes, contributing to a strong sustainability plan that ensures the project’s methods and tools can continue beyond its duration.
