The first international mobility of the Erasmus+ project
“STEMpower Through Art: An Inclusive Future for Youth with Special Needs”
is approaching, and we are pleased to announce an open call for youth participants.

We are inviting young people aged 18–25 from:

  • 🇬🇷 Greece — 6 participants

  • 🇭🇺 Hungary — 6 participants

to take part in this exciting international youth activity.

  • Arrival date: 04 April 2026

  • Departure date: 12 April 2026

The activity is implemented within the framework of an Erasmus+ KA154 Youth Participation Activities Project.

🎯 About the Project

STEMpower Through Art aims to open new doors for young people with special needs — particularly those on the autism spectrum — by combining:

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

  • with the power of Art and creative expression

By bringing together young people from Greece, Türkiye and Hungary, the project creates inclusive, non-formal learning spaces that challenge stereotypes, promote participation and support a more accessible future for all.

👥 Who Can Apply?

We are looking for young people who:

  • Are 18–25 years old

  • Are interested in STEM, Arts, creativity and digital skills

  • Are motivated to participate in international youth activities

  • May include:

    • young people with special needs (with a focus on autism)

    • young people with fewer opportunities

    • students, volunteers or young mentors

  • Have a basic working knowledge of English for communication in an international group

Participation of young people facing social, economic, cultural or accessibility barriers is strongly encouraged.

🍽️ What Is Covered?

The Erasmus+ project fully covers:

  • Accommodation in a hotel (twin or triple rooms)

  • Three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

  • Coffee breaks

  • 100% travel cost reimbursement, according to Erasmus+ distance rules

  • ✔ Workshops, creative activities and youth participation sessions

  • ✔ Intercultural learning and Culture Nights

Participants are required to keep all travel tickets, boarding passes and invoices for reimbursement purposes.

🌍 About the Venue

Bartın is located in the Black Sea region of Türkiye, offering a unique environment where nature, culture and the sea meet.
Activities and accommodation will take place in an accessible venue, selected to ensure comfort for all participants, especially those with special needs.

The area is known for:

  • the Bartın River

  • historical wooden houses

  • proximity to the ancient town of Amasra, with over 3,000 years of history

This setting provides an inspiring backdrop for our STEM and Art workshops and intercultural youth collaboration.

🎭 Cultural Activities

During the project, participants will take part in Culture Nights, where they are invited to:

  • present food, music and traditions from their country

  • wear traditional or cultural clothing (optional)

  • participate in fun cultural quizzes and activities

Participants are encouraged to bring their national flags and ideas to share.
